What would you do if you discovered a stranger staring into your window? It happened to one mom while she was decorating for the holidays.

This was on the southeast side of Colorado Springs near Academy and Drennan Road.

Understandably she's still a little shaken up about what happened, and didn't want to talk with us on camera. She does however want everyone throughout the Springs, to be on the lookout for this suspicious man.

A stranger was standing on the sidewalk in front of their apartment complex staring right in. The only thing separating the mom and her young daughter in their own home, from him, was a window.

She told us, she was putting up some stickers when she realized the man was staring into their home. Joel Kempf lives in the same building with his daughter, he said hearing about this incident worries him.

"I honestly, I'm right now trying to get out of here as soon as I can, you know what I mean. I don't even feel safe, her being her or when she has friends over it really does concern me," Kempf said.

The mom said he stood outside their window for several minutes and it wasn't until she got her boyfriend from another room, did the stranger finally leave.

She added that police told her that if she ever saw the man again, call them right away.

Here is a description of the man: he is described as a Hispanic man, about 5’5” with short dark hair. He's in his late 30's or early 40's, if you have any information call police.
