Man's Face Beaten With Metal Pipe In Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs police report that a man was beaten by a group of men with a metal drain pipe and a broom stick late Monday night.

Police say it happened around 11:30 p.m. at the Apollo Village Apartments on the 400-block of North Murray Boulevard, near East Platte.

When authorities arrived on scene, they say they found a semi-conscious male victim suffering from extensive facial injuries. Police say he was attacked by a group of male suspects, although the victim could not give a description because of his injuries. The victim suffered a fractured cheek bone, fractured nose, and numerous facial contusions.

Authorities report that the suspects left the area on bicycles. If you were in the area at the time and saw something or you know anything about the assault, call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP. Your anonymous tip could earn you a cash reward.
