Former Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway has promised to get rid of his dog if it is found wandering the streets again. Elway appeared before a municipal judge after being cited last month for allowing his malamute, Kimo, to escape. It was Elway's fifth such citation in two years. Judge James Turre told Elway that he would be fined 500-dollars, with 250 suspended provided that no further violations occur in one year's time. He also said that Kimo would be banished from the city if he's caught wandering loose during the same time period. Elway paid the fine and said measures would be taken to keep Kimo at home. He say he hopes he'll never have to get rid of the dog.
