Light snow/rain continue to develop along northern El Paso County, as well as wind picking up in this location. This trend will continue to extend to the south throughout the afternoon hours. Light snow accumulations and poor visibility will be possible for a time this afternoon and evening north of Colorado Springs and south/southwest of Pueblo. Blowing dust will be mostly likely on the Eastern Plains, where a Blowing Dust Advisory is in effect. Bottom-line, your Tuesday will feel (and look) a lot different than the past two days. Be prepared...
A memorial service was held Wednesday afternoon at Fort Carson to pay tribute to two soldiers killed while serving in Iraq.
The Pentagon says 22-year-old Private First Class Elden Arcand and 38-year-old Staff Sergeant Brian Morris died August 21st when their tractor, pulling a 75-hundred-gallon tanker, accidentally rolled over in Tikrit.
Both were assigned to the Army's 360th Transportation Company, 68th Corps Support Battalion, 43rd Area Support Group -- based at Fort Carson.
Arcand was a resident of White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Morris was from Centreville, Michigan.
Arcand's mother says her son told her that other soldiers with families might be able to stay home with their loved ones if he went to Iraq.
