Organizers of a YMCA camp in northern Colorado have canceled next week's session after 85 campers and staffers were sickened by the Norwalk virus.
Campers already at Camp Chief Ouray the site will return home as scheduled tomorrow. Workers plan to spend next week sanitizing the facility.
The camp is scheduled to re-open the following week.
Norwalk virus causes the stomach flu with symptoms including vomiting and diarrhea.
Last week, Boy Scout officials closed two of its three camp sites at the Peaceful Valley Scout Camp in eastern Colorado after an outbreak. Health officials say 115 campers and eleven staffers were reported sick there.
The two cases are not believed to be connected.
