Good News at the Pump

There's some good news on the gasoline front. Prices have dipped slightly over the past two weeks, and may be moving off away from record-high levels.

Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg says the cost of a gallon of gas dipped a half-cent in her latest two-week survey. The average price of self-serve regular is $2.30 per gallon.

Lundberg says prices dipped slightly because supply is able to meet demand, even during the busy summer travel period.

Lundberg says there's no firm prediction for the weeks ahead, but believes gas prices will continue to trend lower.
