Police need your help finding an attempted murderer.

David Barret, Jr. is suspected in the shooting of 25-year-old Paul Rodriguez.

He was shot in the neck and chest at an apartment complex in Pueblo on Saturday.

25-year-old Paul Rodriguez's Saturday night party quickly came to an end when cops arrived to check out reports of underage drinking.

Within hours, Rodriguez plead guilty to supplying alcohol to minors--and returned home.

When he got there he saw his neighbor's lights on, and knocked on their door.

He was greeted with gunshots.

When it ended, bullet wounds would be found on his neck and chest.

"He shot this guy at point-blank range," says Sgt. Eric Bravo, Pueblo Police Department.

He is referring to 29-year-old David Barrett, Jr.

"We've been looking for him now for a couple of days," says Bravo.

Barrett used to live in the same apartment complex.

Barrett is about 5'10". He has multiple tattoos including a tiger tattooed on his right arm, drama masks on his chest, and a crown on his back.

If you know where Barrett is, call Pueblo Crimestoppers at 542-STOP.
