Five years after the first bomb dropped, emotions ran high at a peace vigil in Pueblo tonight.

The goal of Wednesday night's vigil was to promote peace while honoring those who've died fighting for our country.

Young and old gathered at the Vietnam War Memorial in Pueblo to peacefully demonstrate against the war, and pay honor to the lives already lost.

Others wanted to show support for our veterans.

"The people who have come back to this country with wounds either physically or emotionally, it is important to honor them, too," says Molly Eaves, Canon City.

In the past five years, Colorado has lost more than 200 of its men and women.

Citizens at the vigil say--its time for peace.
