Health Code Violations

Health officials in El Paso County are cracking down on restaurants that don't fix health-code violations quickly enough.

They've started fining restaurants that wait too long to make
changes with the penalties ranging from 250 to $1,000 and they plan to post restaurant inspections online by midyear.

Officials hope fines will cut down on multiple visits inspectors
make to repeat violators.
