Newborn Falls Out Of Carrier; Fractures Skull Save Email Print

Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating the serious injury of a baby.

Police say it happened just after midnight Tuesday at a home on Hunting Meadows Circle, near South Celton Road and South Academy.

Authorities report that a 5-week-old infant suffered a fractured skull.

The baby's parents say the infant was being held in carrier when the child's dad fell while walking down stairs. The baby then fell from the carrier.

The baby is currently being treated at Memorial Hospital. Stay with KKTV for the latest on the investigation.
