Colorado gas prices have hit at an all-time high.

The average price for a gallon of self-service regular unleaded is now $2.304.

AAA Colorado says that tops the July 15th record of $2.30, which was matched Monday.

Tuesday's new figure marks the third time Colorado gas prices have set a record this year.

Nationally, gasoline prices set a new high of $2.37 this week, amid rising crude oil prices. Crude futures rallied to a new record high Tuesday of more than $64 a barrel, before edging back.

Crude prices have been rising due to concern over potential terrorist threats in Saudi Arabia and U.S. refinery outages.
