The state is promising to build one billion dollars worth of roads if voters allow the government to keep more money this fall.
Fort Carson would get a new interchange, a project added to the list after the Pentagon announced it would move more soldiers there. Pueblo County will get two highway projects because officials were miffed at being left off an earlier list and growing Adams County will also get some roads.
However, Eagle County failed to get a promise to build an airport interchange and Larimer County said it was ignored all together. Aurora says it's concerned that the state plans to build more toll roads instead of using the money for public highways.
