People who knew Mamie Ann Legg say they'll remember her as someone who loved to share -- not only stories and songs, but also her secret to a long life.
Colorado's oldest resident died in her sleep early Monday at Christian Living Center in Denver. She was 111.
Legg became one of the 20 oldest people in the nation, and one of 65 documented to have lived past the age of 110.
She said her secret to long life was attending church, and avoiding drugs, alcohol and smoking.
Services are scheduled for 1p.m. Friday at Trinity Baptist Church in Wheat Ridge.
She'll be buried next to her husband, who died in 1922, at Riverside Cemetery in Denver.
