Accumulation should be minimal as most moisture looks to be light and temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and 40s through the afternoon. A horseback rider makes a shocking discovery. A burned body, laying along a dirt road in Eastern El Paso County.
The body was found Tuesday morning along Blaney Road, near Highway 94.
Investigators with the El Paso County Sheriff's office are calling this a possible homicide. Theyre trying to find any clue that can tell them who this man was and how his body got to that location.
Deputies say its difficult to tell much about the body. They say the man is probably in his 20's, 5 10, with a medium build. Deputies say it appears some sort of accelerant was used to burn the body.
A helicopter was brought to take aerial photographs of the area, and eight deputies on horseback covered a one-mile radius around the body looking for clues.
Investigators hope autopsy results can tell them more about who the man is and how he died
