A survey released Monday shows the Mountain States Business Conditions Index rose two points in November to 56.9.

The index covers Colorado, Wyoming and Utah. An index greater than 50 indicates an expectation of growth in the months ahead.

Confidence regarding the economic outlook over the next six to nine months improved as well, with a November reading of 55.4, up from 52.9 in October.

The overall indices for individual states in November were 52.7 for Colorado, 55.6 for Utah, and 64.3 for Wyoming.

The survey is compiled at Creighton University in Omaha Nebraska.
