A system producing heavy snow in the central mountains arrives in SE Colorado overnight Sunday into Monday bringing moisture, windy conditions and colder temperatures. Snow showers will be possible across the I-25 corridor to start the day. This system will produce bands of snow through the day Monday. Areas under these bands will see periods of heavy snowfall which, with windy conditions, could create travel difficulties. Now that Christmas is winding down, many people are thinking about what to do with the tree.
Colorado Recycles says that tree can still be put to good use. If it's recycled, it can be made into beneficial mulch.
