The "field" itself could be bigger just not with the same crowd capacity. Think about it. Invesco Field holds more than 75,000 sore losers when the Broncos lose.

Ron, it says "A field bigger than Invesco field could be coming to downtown Colorado Springs."..."The stadium would be able to hold 13,000 fans during live concerts and would be able to hold more than 5,000 seats during rugby tournaments. Plus, kids around the neighborhood would be able to use the field."... Invesco Field holds more than 75,000 fans...

Bobby, read it again. It makes no mention that Infested, I mean Invesco, can only set 5,000.

On 2/19/08 you had a soldier who have recovered from an explosion in Iraq. My wife and I are old neighbors before his wife and new born baby boy had to go to TX to support and comport him through his recovery. We would be so greatful if you could pass on our information and have them contact us. Our home number is 719-596-1189. We thank you in advance for your assistance. God bless you.

Here we go again, trying to be like denver. Enough already! Who plays rugby? No one I know, & I've lived here over 25 yrs. There are enough parks & smaller sports venues here in town to accomodate outdoor activities, but another sports stadium is definitely not needed. Is something wrong with Security Service Field/SkySox Stadium? Evidently not. Our taxdollars need to be put to better use elsewhere.

not a bad idea, but how about City Council first deal with the lack of downdown parking to support what business is already in place

Yet another stupid idea. Why don't you invest in something real like cleaning up and renewing parts of the city and helping those in need? Quit stuffing your already deep pockets.
