A system producing heavy snow in the central mountains arrives in SE Colorado overnight Sunday into Monday bringing moisture, windy conditions and colder temperatures. Snow showers will be possible across the I-25 corridor to start the day. This system will produce bands of snow through the day Monday. Areas under these bands will see periods of heavy snowfall which, with windy conditions, could create travel difficulties. Several inches of accumulation will be possible in areas where these bands develop. For more information click the ‘Weather’ tab...
The fight isn't over for Crowley County Sheriff Jeff Keyes. The county clerk has approved a recall petition launched by residents who say they've lost faith in him.
Keyes was acquitted last week on charges he spilled 55 gallons of hydraulic fluid during a drug investigation and then lied to health officials about it.
He was arrested by the CBI for the incident in December.
Keyes says he may challenge the signatures and has 15 days to do it.
Three candidates who want to take over must collect 117 signatures to get on the ballot.
