If you're looking for education costs to come down for a change, don't hold your breath. Colorado State University may be looking at raising tuition costs.

A hike of 12 percent could be in the works, meaning an additional $307 for the next school year.

Right now, in-state undergrads pay nearly $3400 for 2 semesters plus $850 in mandatory student fees.

The hike would be the largest since 1984 when C.S.U. raised tuition by 15 percent.

The proposed tuition hike still needs the approval of the governor.
