Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
A 15-year-old girl is recovering after being hit by a vehicle in Colorado Springs late Friday night.
According to police, she was standing just outside the center median in the left lane of traffic on the 2100 block of eastbound E. Platte when a Land Rover hit her. The girl was accompanied by an older sibling, who was uninjured.
The girl sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The driver was evaluated for DUI, but was determined to be sober. The girl received a citation of pedestrians in roadway.
