A FLASH FLOOD WATCH will go into effect at NOON and last through MIDNIGHT from most of Southern Colorado. Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms will be more than capable of producing very heavy rain once again. Burn scars and areas that saw heavy rain yesterday will be under the greatest risk for flash flooding. The 11 Breaking Weather Team will be tracking this threat all day for you.
The Division of Wildlife wants just more than 20 (M) million
dollars and the state parks want 19 (M) million.
The Division of Wildlife would use most of the money to buy land
and protect it as habitat.
The state parks would use part of its money to fill in the
Colorado Front Range Trail which will connect Trinidad to Fort
Collins. The department also wants to develop Cheyenne Mountain
State Park in Colorado Springs.
A decision will be made December 4th.
