Colorado Springs Gets "FireWise"

The Colorado Springs Fire Department has launched a new program on its website, called "FireWise."

It's especially useful for people who live on the west side of the city, where the fire risk is highest.

The website teaches you how to reduce the potential for a wildfire around your home. By typing in your address, it will give you a "fire hazard rating" of your home. It can also identify problems on your property and recommend solutions.
