Most Colorado ski resorts are packing up for the season, but a handful plan to keep the lifts running as late as June.
Silverton Mountain and Arapahoe Basin won't close until mid-June. Loveland will stay open until May first, and Wolf Creek will reopen for the weekends of April 16th and 30th after closing last week.
Wolf Creek spokesman Davey Pitcher says the area has a 165-inch base and eight inches of new snow.
Jen Ader Brill, whose husband owns Silverton, says April provides some of the best skiing at the mountain.
Resorts closing this Sunday are Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Eldora, Vail and Winter Park.
