A convicted murderer will soon hear his fate.
Twenty-six year-old David Brasche confessed to the burglary and stabbing of 18 year-old Serina Ortega.
He killed her in her La Veta home July 6, 2003.
Brasche was supposed to be sentenced Thursday but the sentencing was delayed because of a winter storm.
He faces up to 80 years in prison after pleading guilty to 2nd degree murder.
