House Democrats have chosen Denver Representative Jennifer Veiga as minority leader as they try to figure out why voters didn't elect more members of their party. Attorney General Ken Salazar told fellow Democrats it's important to look what he called the silver linings of the cloud after a tough election season. Democrats won four of five heavily contested races in the State House but still trail Republicans 37-to-28. Denver Representative Andrew Romanoff was selected assistant minority leader. Romanoff says there will be a lot of speculation and recriminations by Democrats over what went wrong in Tuesday's election. He promised to address the issues raised.
