Wal-Mart gets a hesitant thumbs up in Woodland Park.
The city's planning commission voted 6 to 3 late Friday night to approve zoning changes allowing Wal-Mart to build a 160 thousand square foot supercenter in their town.
The center would be located on a 48 acre plot of land next to Highway 24.
The commission also voted unanimously to request Wal-Mart make changes to the architecture of the proposed building.
The approval is only a recommendation. The city council still needs to review the plans on Thursday.
