Peaceful and without any problems. That's how the protests in front of Palmer High School ended this morning.
A group of about 10 with the Westboro Baptist Church came from Kansas to spread their anti-homosexual message. Police say 300 to 500 counter protesters also turned out to oppose that message.
The Phelps group came to Colorado Springs because some Palmer High School students wanted a Gay-Straight Alliance Club to be recognized by the school.
The majority of protesters say they wanted to let everyone know Colorado Springs is a tolerant city.
