Roads are icy in spots that saw accumulating snow yesterday. Allow yourself plenty of extra time this morning and dress warmly, as wind chills are in the single digits and teens for many. A second disturbance will bring another round of snow showers to the Front Range this afternoon and early evening. A tough year for the University of Colorado... And it's also making for a tough time for a former attorney general.
Senator Ken Salazar is on the defensive, justifying his role in the investigation of the CU recruiting scandal when he was the state's attorney general.
Salazar led a task force looking into allegations the school's football program used sex and drugs to lure recruits.
But the task force didn't file a single charge in 9 alleged sex assaults because of a lack of evidence or victims' reluctance to pursue the case.
