After a mild Saturday, temperatures to finish the weekend will be MUCH colder! A system to our west pushes into SE Colorado overnight. Snow showers will be possible by early Sunday morning across the I-25 corridor with a change to rain and snow showers through the afternoon. Accumulation should be minimal as most moisture looks to be light and temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and 40s through the afternoon, though areas in higher elevations could see 1-2". An Air Force Academy cadet squadron will march in President Bush's inauguration parade in Washington later this month.
Cadet Squadron 21 commander and academy senior Austin Skelley will lead the 80-plus-member unit on the one-point-seven-mile route January 20th.
Skelley will deliver the traditional salute to the president, members of the Cabinet and Congress and other dignitaries on the reviewing stand.
The parade will stretch from Capitol Hill to the White House.
Cadet Squadron 21 will be the only Colorado military unit in the parade.
