U.S. Senate Race Poll

Democrat challenger Tom Strickland had 46 percent support and Republican Senator Wayne Allard had 45 percent support from registered voters.

The poll of 807 registered and 619 likely voters has an error margin of plus or minus 4 percentage points. The CNN-USA

Today-Gallup poll says 47 percent of likely voters would choose Allard, while 43 percent supported Strickland.

The poll also says 32 percent of voters say they're thinking about economic conditions and 19 percent were thinking of possibility of war with Iraq while choosing a Senator.

Another poll done by Ciruli and Associates for The Denver Post-KUSA-TV-and-KOA radio surveyed 400 likely voters with an error margin of 4-point-9 percentage points.

That poll says Strickland had 42 percent support to Allard's 41 percent.
