A strong cold front will move through Southern Colorado on Tuesday. It will bring much colder temperatures (especially in the afternoon), strong wind, & a few rain and snow showers. Light accumulations and poor visibility possible for a time by late afternoon and evening north of Colorado Springs and south/southwest of Pueblo. Bottomline, your Tuesday will feel a lot different than the past two days. Be prepared...
A new manufacturing plant could boost Southern Colorado's economy by bringing in new jobs.
The Pavestone Company is building a new plant in Fountain. Pavestone is the largest producer of concrete paving stones and segmental retaining walls in the nation.
The plant could bring up to 100 jobs to the area, and the company's CEO is looking to hire people locally. "We like to get more of a local presence, especially in sales people, marketing, people within the local areas are better for us," said Bob Schlegel.
Groundbreaking is expected to happen in 2003.
