A snowshoer who got lost in a snowstorm is found safe and in good condition.
A helicopter search crew found 49-year-old Steven Brodsky of Centennial at about 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon about two miles from his car at the summit of Guanella Pass. The spot is a popular starting point for the hike up Mount Bierstadt in Clear Creek County.
Brodsky left the Denver metro area early Saturday morning to snowshoe somewhere in the mountains. He was reported missing when he failed to return that night as planned.
The area saw scattered snow showers over the weekend, with highs in the 40s and lows in the mid-teens.
