All four lanes of I-70 going through Glenwood Canyon are open more than a week ahead of schedule.
A Thanksgiving Day rockslide caused partial closure of that stretch of Interstate 70, causing $1.2 million in estimated damages.
Traffic was rerouted around the canyon for three days until crews opened a portion of the road.
Crews had to repair eight damaged sections of a bridge deck had to be before completely reopening the highway.
