Roads are icy in spots that saw accumulating snow yesterday. Allow yourself plenty of extra time this morning and dress warmly, as wind chills are in the single digits and teens for many. A second disturbance will bring another round of snow showers to the Front Range this afternoon and early evening. While not as heavy as yesterday, some additional light accumulations over the higher terrain will be possible, including Teller and Northern El Paso Counties. Highs in the 30s and 40s will feel colder when factoring a blustery northwest wind. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
Several hundred fetuses were buried Sunday at a Boulder Roman Catholic church on the anniversary of the legalization of abortion 32 years ago.
The service was nearly interrupted when a state representative questioned its legality.
The church had expected to bury many more fetuses but the Boulder abortion clinic requested that babies cremated in November be returned to the mortuary and the church honored that request.
State Representative Debbie Stafford warned the church they may be violating a state law that requires unclaimed remains to be held for at least a year.
The service went on as planned.
