A strong cold front will move through Southern Colorado today. It will bring much colder temperatures (especially in the afternoon), strong wind, a few rain/snow showers, and blowing dust to Southern Colorado. Light snow accumulations and poor visibility will be possible for a time this afternoon and evening north of Colorado Springs and south/southwest of Pueblo. Blowing dust will be mostly likely on the Eastern Plains, where a Blowing Dust Advisory is in effect. Bottom-line, your Tuesday will feel (and look) a lot different than the past two days. Be prepared...
A local teenager is dead, after falling into a frozen pond.
Firefighters were called out Sunday evening, after the 16 year old boy fell into a pond at Gleneagle Golf Course.
Witnesses say he and his friend were riding their bikes across the ice-covered pond when they both fell in. The friend managed to get out.
Crews found the other teen's body after more than 3 hours of searching.
