Christmas may be two months away, but October 25 likely feels like Christmas for the families of 120 Fort Carson soldiers returning from a year-long deployment.
The 10th Combat Support Hospital were deployed to Afghanistan last October and dispersed to 15 locations within the country, where they helped provide medical care. Fort Carson says the work of the 10th CSH was a direct contributor to the 98 percent survival rate of the soldiers under their care.
The returning soldiers are expected to arrive at Fort Carson at 9:45 a.m. Any changes to their homecoming schedule can be found right here on kktv.com.
