Colorado's two senators say the Pentagon still plans to neutralize chemical weapons stored at the Pueblo Chemical Depot.
Senators Wayne Allard and Ken Salazar say cost overruns and delays will not mean a change in plans. Some feared that could result in the weapons being incinerated or moved.
Allard and Salazar say they got assurances that the original plan is still in place Tuesday from the Defense Department.
