Election officials are feeling some jitters especially when it comes to provisional ballots.
Non-partisan election watch groups say they could foresee potential problems because rules involving provisional ballots vary state to state.
Florida and Ohio will not count them if a person votes outside his or her home precinct but Maryland will. Colorado will only count votes for the Presidency on provisional ballots cast outside the home precinct.
Also, all provisional ballots will not be counted on election night and could be subject to legal challenge.
