Fire investigators suspect arson as the cause of a blaze that forced the evacuation of a busy Castle Rock department store Tuesday night.
Now, authorities are looking at surveillance video from the Kohl's store to see whether security cameras might have caught someone in the act.
The fire broke out about 6:30 p.m. in a trio of clothing racks at the store, located near Interstate 25 and Founders Parkway. About 150 people were safely cleared from the building, but two Kohl's employees suffered smoke inhalation.
Castle Rock Fire Chief Art Morales says nothing near the clothing racks would have caused them to catch fire.
But Morales says with so many cameras in the store, there's a good chance investigators will be able to identify a suspect.
