It will be like old times for the newest members of Colorado's congressional delegation.

Brothers Ken and John Salazar will room together when they go to Washington next month. The two Democrats have rented an apartment together.

John Salazar won the open seat in the Third Congressional District last month. Ken Salazar won the open Senate seat. As boys on their San Luis Valley ranch, the two bunked in the same room, along with several of their siblings.

John Salazar, a former state legislator, is hiring people for his congressional staff. Ken Salazar is wrapping up his work as attorney general. On Thursday, Gov. Bill Owens nominated U.S. Attorney John Suthers to be his replacement.
