(Papeete, Tahiti-AP) -- The brother of missing former NBA player Bison Dele reportedly is on life support.
The Los Angeles Times reports that Miles Dabord is living only through artificial means, according to his mother.
Dabord was found unconscious September 14th in Tijuana, Mexico. He was taken to a hospital in California where he remains in a coma.
Investigators in Tahiti believe Dabord killed Dele, Dele's girlfriend and the French captain on board Dele's sailboat in July. Dele, his girlfriend Serena Karlan and the skipper, Bertrand Saldo, haven't been seen since July 8.
Investigators hope to gain clues by studying a satellite phone aboard the sailboat. They are also evaluating whether to dismantle part of the catamaran to search for more clues.
