President Bush made a brief campaign stop on Monday in Greeley.
He brought his tough-on-terrorists message to the city, telling a crowd that "America wins wars by fighting on the offensive."
He also accused Democrat John Kerry of sending a message to the Middle East that the U.S. will pull out of Iraq before the job is done.
Mr. Bush also put in a plug for first-term Republican Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, who's locked in a bitter re-election battle with Democrat and former state Senator Stan Matsunaka for the Fourth Congressional District seat. Musgrave has been criticized for spending too much time opposing gay marriage instead of focusing on issues that matter to her constituents.
Monday's visit by President Bush to Greeley marks the third visit by the presidential campaigns to Colorado in the past three days.
Mr. Bush's stop in Greeley, though, is the first by a sitting president since 1937, when Franklin D. Roosevelt traveled to the city during a whistle-stop tour.
Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry visited Pueblo on Saturday.
