A system producing heavy snow in the central mountains arrives in SE Colorado overnight Sunday into Monday bringing moisture, windy conditions and colder temperatures. Snow showers will be possible across the I-25 corridor to start the day. This system will produce bands of snow through the day Monday. Areas under these bands will see periods of heavy snowfall which, with windy conditions, could create travel difficulties. Several inches of accumulation will be possible in areas where these bands develop. For more information click the ‘Weather’ tab...
'Tis the season to start stringing up your holiday lights.
Experts say you can probably light up the outside of your house for less than $10.
But before you attempt anything, there are a few "don't's" to keep in mind.
Don't use a staple gun or nails to hang up the lights. Instead use plastic hangers that attach to the gutters.
Don't put the lights in direct weather. Make sure they're protected by the eaves of your house.
And don't overload the circuit by plugging too many cords together.
