President Bush is heading back to Colorado---just eight days before the November general election.

President Bush is scheduled to speak in Greeley on Monday morning. It'll
mark the first time in 70 years a sitting president has visited the city.

A Democratic presidential candidate has carried Colorado only twice in the last 50 years, the last being President Clinton. But recent polls show Democratic nominee John Kerry gaining ground in the state. A poll released yesterday found that 49 percent support President Bush and 43 percent backed Kerry. The margin of error was plus or minus four percentage points.

Democratic candidate John Kerry has already announced plans to visit Pueblo on Saturday morning. He will make an appearance with U.S. Senate candidate Ken Salazar at the Union Depot.
