The Montrose County Coroner has confirmed that the 14-year-old son of NBC sports executive Dick Ebersol was killed in the fiery crash of a chartered jet.
Coroner Mark Young says that Edward "Teddy" Ebersol was crushed by the wreckage after he was ejected from the plane.
Young says he died instantly.
The plane carrying Ebersol and two of his sons crashed Sunday while taking off from the Montrose airport during a snow storm. The small town is 185 miles southwest of Denver.
Also killed were the pilot, 50-year-old Luis Alberto Polanco of the Dominican Republic, and 36-year-old flight attendant Warren T. Richardson of Coral Gables, Florida.
The co-pilot -- identified by Denver newspapers as Eric Wicksell of Daytona Beach, Florida -- is in critical condition at a burn unit in Denver.
