A system producing heavy snow in the central mountains arrives in SE Colorado overnight Sunday into Monday bringing moisture, windy conditions and colder temperatures. Snow showers will be possible across the I-25 corridor to start the day. This system will produce bands of snow through the day Monday. Areas under these bands will see periods of heavy snowfall which, with windy conditions, could create travel difficulties. The Supreme Court appeared hesitant Monday to endorse medical marijuana for patients who have a doctor's recommendation to smoke it.
Justices heard arguments Monday morning. They are considering whether sick people in Colorado and ten other states with medical marijuana laws can have pot, even though federal law considers the drug illegal.
The Supreme Court questioned whether state medical marijuana laws might be abused by people who aren't really sick.
Justice Stephen Breyer said supporters of marijuana for the ill should take their fight to federal drug regulators before coming to the Supreme Court.
