Data from the Natural Resources Conservation Service show statewide snowpack levels are 113 percent of average for this date.
The state's snowpack has been improving after five years of drought.
Ski resorts are especially happy.
According to Colorado Ski Country, Crested Butte reports that it got 35 inches of fresh snow in the last 48 hours, and Monarch received 25 inches. Snowmass reported 22 inches in the last two days.
