An airman working at the Air Force Academy hospital as a physical therapist testified in a case involving a senior airman accused of raping her.
The woman says she woke up in her bed with Senior Airman Levi Ackley after drinking with him and three other men in Ackley's dorm room at the academy. She says she was too drunk to remember whether she consented to sex.
Ackley is charged with rape and forcible sodomy. He could be sentenced to life in prison if he's convicted during a court-martial.
Monday's hearing at the academy was an Article 32 hearing to determine whether Ackley should face a court-martial. A decision will come later.
Prosecutors contend Ackley took advantage of the woman who was too young to legally drink at the time of the alleged assault.
The defense attorney has suggested the woman accused Ackley of rape to escape being punished for underage drinking.
