Rampart HIgh School students are evacuated from school, then sent home after a fire breaks out on campus.
Shortly after classes started on Tuesday morning, a fire alarm sounded forcing students to evacuate the building.
Colorado Springs firefighters arrived on scene and determed there was a fire in a second floor bathroom. They were able to put the fire out quickly.
All kids and faculty were accounted for and no injuries were reported.
After more than an hour standing outside the school, District 20 officials decided not to resume classes because of the odor in the building.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. District 20 officials say firefighters believe the cause is suspicious. Along with fire officials, the school district is conducting it's own investigation to determine what or who is to blame.
Students can report any information about this fire anonymously to Student Crimestoppers at 444-STOP.
Classes at Rampart High School will resume again Wednesday morning.
