Good news in the state when it comes to the West Nile virus. The number of cases are way down along the Front Range.
Colorado had 3 thousand cases last year which lead the nation. This year, there were only 253 cases with 2 deaths.
Health experts say the cooler summer may have helped stifle the number of cases.
The hardest hit area in the state this year is the Western Slope.
